Cycling Sore Neck

My 16 month old has a really bad sore throat, looking for home remedies?

I’ve tried to use the over the counter stuff, nothing seems to be working. She’s only sipping on ice water for the past two days. She turns away for anything else. I tried pop cycles and lolly pops, ice, nothing. I don’t want to keep giving her medicine with no food in her stomach but she can’t sleep otherwise. Any good suggestions. Maybe something to numb her throat, can’t seem to find anything for babies. I feel like a zombie, no sleep and she’s attached to my neck night and day.

With a 16 mo daughter that hasn’t eaten for 2 days, I would be recommending that you head for a pediatrician! The sore throat will mean that popsicles and anything with even a modicum of acid in, as they would have, will sting like hell!
