Get on your bike and ride. Start out with an easy 10 min warn up ride to get the blood flowing. After the warm up start pedaling at a high cadence 70 – 90 rpm’s with a lite pressure on the pedals. You want a gear that will get your breathing to the point where you can still talk but not sing. If you need to catch your breath or your legs start to burn drop down a gear and keep going. I was using a spread sheet to keep track of of my rides but I just write it down on a chart. You don’t need a program to train.
