Is there any news on the DISC for HSV?

I have heard that research has been taking place for a vaccine for genital herpes called the Disabled Infectious Single Cycle (DISC) HSV. But that was a while ago and I’ve heard nothing since. Would you know of anything further?

To be honest I believe that there is many vaccines out there for alot of disease. Look they have a chicken pox vaccine and that is part of the herpes family. Money is where it is. You make money off of people who are sick and that are going to need medicine for the rest of there life. You make a faction of money off of curing and vaccinating. I know that’s not really what you asked but that’s why it takes so long for something like that to come out.
