Cycling Instructor Certification

spinning instructor question : certification?

I got Spinning certified in 1997 and kept it current all through 2006. I let my certification lapse since I started bike racing and cycling.I continued to teach spin and my club never worried about the certification since I have been teaching fitness for so long ( in total since 1993 with ACE, AFAA and IPFA certifications) anyhow, will I just be able to renew my Spinning certification with the online course, or will I have to take the darn intro class again? I cannot find the answer at spinning.com The new director at my fitness club wants all current certifications on file.
I really hope I don’t have to take the into class, I could teach the darn thing.

no jus go on the website and retake the exam, but be sure to brush up on ur material. teachin it and takin this exam are two different things… im doing it now. all you have to do is retake the exam, you dont have to redo everything.
